Tuned down a 5th from the standard guitar (A to A), but strings 3 and 4 are just tuned up an octave so it is doesn't sound
muddy. The sixth string is an A tuned down like the A on an electric bass.  The fifth string is tuned to a D on a bass.  The fourth string
is a G.  The third is a C.  The second is an E and the first is an A. The sixth is an .080 gauge flat wound (bass string).  The fifth is a .060 gage flat
wound.  The fourth string is a .022 round wound string.  The Third is a .016 unwound string. The second is a round wound .026 and the first is an unwound .018.  The high notes are in the middle now (because they are tuned up an octave.  Essentially you get very
pianistic sounding chords with standard voicing.

Great fun and a joy for accompaniment rather than a solo instrument. 1 of only 250 ever made.
