Beethoven: Sonata In B Flat Op.22

For its size, its brilliance and its maturity this work presents surprisingly few difficulties of technique and interpretation. Only a great composer could have written this sonata and a good performance of it promises a capacity for presenting the greater things that followed it. This Signature edition has been edited by Harold Craxton and annotated by Donald Francis Tovey.
