By extending their premises into next door after over 100 years as Derby's premier music shop, Foulds have turned themselves into one of the country's biggest complete music stores.
Boasting no less than 13 showrooms the huge range on offer belies the narrow frontage to Irongate. There are showrooms for upright pianos, digital pianos by Roland, Casio and Clavinova and grand pianos.
The new guitar shop upstairs boasts specialist showrooms for each area of the guitar world - Jazz, hand-made, classical, acoustic and electric. A big staff of expert musicians are on hand to deal with every possible musical enquiry or problem. Rental is Foulds' speciality, with schemes covering everything from pianos to piccolos, and literally thousands of youngsters have started their music-making at Foulds.
